A public meeting was held on February 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Indiana School for the Blind.
Summary
DPW is conducting a drainage project on the Monon trail from 75th Street and going 2500 ft. north – to just a little north of the blind school property. The project will improve drainage on the trail. It is estimated it will take 2 months in the spring (dates not given) to complete. The trail itself will be closed for 2 weeks during that time. Windcombe residents will still have neighborhood access to the trail. Walkers/runners will still be able to use the trail up to the closed area however, bikers are being detoured at 91st St.
